The Big Smoke

We managed to squeeze in a weekend in London, Hakasan was a big hit with the chopstick novices...

We saw the Joana Vasconcelos exhibition - smashing dogs were a big hit - and Polly Morgan, 'Psychopomps' at Haunch of Venison.

Lots of Tree House ideas at the V&A '1:1 Architects Build Small Spaces'.

The Japanese house has a little stove and is for drinking tea, exactly what we need.

We round off the trip at the Imperial War Museum, fabulous exhibitions, appalling cake.

Busy

We are now in week 6 of 8 weeks school holidays and we have been busy, busy, busy...

I have been cracking on with the Masters, the above is not in fact a large hat?

Miss 'Flamingo' Belle has been to Stagecoach - everything is so dramatic in her little world...

...this is what happens when you find a pair of footless tight purchased in error by your mother!
The big brother has done guitar, self defence, tennis, archery, a week's cricket and of course the best activity of all a trip to the library.

Glasgow via Woolfest

Several weeks ago we paid a flying visit to Glasgow via Woolfest...

'The Doctor' was out.

We went to The Burrell Collection - brilliant playground - and saw some performance drawing...

and wildlife carved from a tree trunk.

Louis enjoying the designs of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, these little alcove seats were for knitting or reading according to the audio guide.
