Saturday Stitching in August

Today I knocked up this reversible bag and you can make one too if you come along to one of my August Saturday Stitchings.

Reversible bag, Saturday 3rd August, 9.30-10, all materials provided,
including tea and home made cake, £25

If that seems a little bit too intense why not try the genteel art of paper piecing,  hand stitching can go anywhere with you, on the train, on holiday, on your lunch break, so you never have to sit around being bored and wasting time.  A very portable project and small enough to take in an envelope.

Paper Piecing Saturday 10th August, 9.30 - 12, bring your own fabric scraps and sewing kit, £20.

Saturday 17th August come along and create your very own lined hessian tote,
all materials provided, £25.  Pictures to follow.

Back to the genteel hand stitching, Saturday 24th August, 9.30 - 12, Japanese Applique.  Inspired by the work of Yoko Saito.  Bring your own scrap fabrics and sewing kit, £20.

Watch this space for more examples of what you could conjure  up.
