Chinese Babies...

The Chinese babies - adored by the little ones in my stitching class - have gone to the big pin cushion in the sky.  Although it looks good silk deteriorates and the bran/wood whatever it was started leaking out, they will be missed.  The new kid on the block is the treacle tin pin cushion, "Out of the strong came forth sweetness", I once got a point on University Challenge for that.

New pins also, they are the proper Clover flower heads, I have had a few different types of these but the new ones are by far the best, much sturdier.

Needlepoint used to be my thing, I would love to sit in front of the telly after a long day at work mindlessly colouring in the blocks.  This is part of a cushion I made, but it fell out of favour.

I have been busy making for all of the events I have coming up.

In or out?

The owl was a framed picture from a charity shop, more crewel work than needlepoint.

I love him, think he definitely falls in to the retro category with the wild lining.

Loving the butter soft mustard leather.

Owl always love you.

Soon to be spotted on etsy and at a maker/craft/pop-up fair near you.
