My assistant and I had a very good weekend away selling our wares at Bakewell Woolgathering, a lovely show and catching up with lots of old friends - no-one could believe the size of Louis, well I do keep feeding him. We stayed right in the middle of Bakewell and had a great meal on Saturday night with a good friend and were able to roll out of bed on Sunday morning to a fry up and then stroll across the river to 'work'.
The Harris Tweed got many compliments and I've got a few lined up to work my magic on
so watch this space.
I managed to sneak a few purchases, some fab hand spun angora and a couple of skeins from
Forest Crafters, a supersoft lambswool and the one below which I wound while I was at the show ready for action this week - a very subtle red shimmer.

This week I have wholesale orders to make,
a little Christmas wreath workshop on Thursday,
back to back knitting classes at Salt Line Studio on Saturday
and not forgetting a very messy house to bring under control!
