Vintage Needlepoint

I don't think you can beat a good piece of needlepoint, I used love stitching them but I've moved on a bit now, although I know I would only need to do a couple of stitches to be addicted again!
The sad thing about needlepoint is how many never get completed or get to the finished stage but no further and so I've made it my mission to rescue any I find, hence the burst of cushions.
They do need a lot of prep and soaking and stretching but I think the end result is worth it.
They've all taken up residence in my Etsy shop.

I love the colour combination of the aquas, greys and yellows
and the ducks just make me think of Hilda Ogden.

You can't go wrong with a hunting scene and a bit of red moleskin.

This one is a bit more contemporary and makes me think of our last holiday in Cornwall,
who wouldn't want to live in the little thatched cottage by the sea?
