A Busy Week

We spent this week in Wales, I challenged my young assistant to a bit of sock knitting.  Louis is knitting some Blue Faced Leicester that he dyed with Koolaid - don't drink it -  years and years ago, in his pants so that he didn't get it on his clothes, I have a photo somewhere.  Miss Belle is knitting some pink sparkle sock yarn that she had from Woofest.

We took Iris with us, what a treat.

Percy did a lot of bouncing across the beach with no paws on the ground.

Back home today I was lucky enough to be asked to judge at Barlaston Village Show.

I've been doing well at reducing my sugar intake for about 18 months now, thank you Robert Lustig, there was a recent incident with a pavlova in Glasgow but not many witnesses.  Today I was forced to eat Battenberg, Bakewell Tart, Rock Cakes, Madeira Cake, quiche, jam, chutney and fruit cordial.  I also judges the 'craft' classes, some great talent around Barlaston, including the veg and flowers.
