I am lucky enough to know many good spinners,
they are excellent people for a knitter to know.
I knit this up from some hand spun from my friend Chris. I had a few skeins and no idea of a pattern but a rough idea of what I wanted. I just worked out my gauge and then with a provisional cast-on did a couple of rectangles - the back longer than the front - sewed them up, added a few rows to bring the neck line together and then picked up the provisional cast-on and knit down for half a dozen rows. at the bottom. Very basic but just what I was aiming for and of course being from the hands of a very clever spinner it is extremely light for the amount of warmth it traps.
