I found an unfinished patchwork quilt top ages ago and I was torn between making it up into a quilt or cutting it up, in the end I decided I wasn't short of quilts so the scissors it was. I love the cotton prints that the original maker used, 60's and 70's but the yellow hexagon is just the type of thing people like Lotta Jansdotter do now. I made a few bags.
A bit of Jamieson's of Shetland Fair Isle knit.
A couple of pieces of Haddon by Maj Nilsson for David Whitehead.
An absolute stunner, this 1960's barkcloth reminds me of a Rothko painting, shaded red to orange to pink it's like a sunset. With the very last of this fabric I made a few slim cases, which I'm quite into at the moment, good for pens or the bottom of your handbag!
