Woolfest 2017



On Friday I took my annual trip to Woolfest in Cockermouth, my favourite fibre show.


The Rare Breed Parade with Peter Titley is an absolute treat every year.


Plenty of wooly friends,


old and new.


360 miles, but well worth it.


In other business, I made my third dress from Happy Homemade: Sew Chic
same pattern just a different linen!


At last a cushion for my studio rocker, 
Haddon by Maj Nilsson for David Whitehead, 1959.


A couple of bags with my remnants, this is a heavy almost canvas cotton.


 At last I've dived into my enormous lace stash.


Finally the vintage Marignan - I made a frock from this
 the ever so stylish French with their fur coated chauffeurs and fancy hats,
