I've been binge listening to Sewing Out Loud as I work and Zede and Mallory inspired me to try stretch fabric and thread. The only stretch fabric I had in was a bright red velour that I bought in Copenhagen to make a dress for Miss Belle when she was a baby, that was 11 years ago and I've always been scared of it! I had a go at a Grainline Linden, gotta love a raglan, and was chuffed with the results, more stretch thread will be ordered.
I've also been stitching away at shop makes, I was going for a heavy duty canvas theme. Glorious bright yellow, perfect for these dreary days.
A vintage French indigo canvas that feels rubbery but doesn't look it but I suppose it's the waterproofing treatment, a beautiful woven canvas.
Of course a bit of Marimekko oilskin.
