Hand Embroidered Linen Tee

Embroidered terracotta red linen shirt. I embroidered by hand using an original 1940's transfer onto a second hand shirt that I had altered.

I laundered, removed hem and cuff lace, re-cut the hem with a dip at the back and hemmed cuffs and bottom. Then iron on transfer, embroidered for 5 hours and laundered again to remove remnants of the transfer and ensure the embroidered colours were fast.

Modelled by me but would suit a larger frame.

Chest flat 25.5"
Actual chest 51"
Shoulder to front hem 22"
Shoulder to back hem 24"

Depending on the amount of easy you prefer I would say it would suit up to a 42/44" chest. Measure a woven shirt that fits you well to get a better idea.

Launder inside out on a delicate cycle or by hand. Press inside out with a towel under the embroidery, this ensures it doesn't flatten out.

Everything in my shop is made by me in my studio in Staffordshire and all from secondhand fabrics which may show their age and are in good natural fibres. You can see a decades worth of reviews in my Etsy shop - I no longer sell this way it's left up purely for the good reviews.
