Romney is a long semi-lustrous fleece and very soft, a real joy to spin.
I hand dyed this to get variegated denim blues.
Hand spun yarn takes many many hours to create, this fibre was prepped and oiled for spinning, spun into singles then plied then skeined then washed and finally it is ready to be squeezed and used.
