Angora Scalene Scarf
Scalene scarf hand knit by me in pristine 1950’s Tinkerbell yarn. A bias scalene triangle - all sides different lengths - garter stitch scarf in scarlet. Its elongated so perfect for knotting and has an eyelet edge along the longest side. I found this 70 year old yarn in it’s original packaging, it had obviously been treasured. Made myself a hat and decided the remainder shouldn’t sit for another 70 years. It is incredibly fluffy! I have never come across a modern yarn with so much of a halo but that’s because it’s 75% Angora with 25% nylon for strength.
I will send out an original label with the scarf, they are an absolute delight.
