Maj Nilsson for David Whithead ‘Haddon’ Tote

'Haddon' from 1959 is absolute peak mid-century design by Swedish textile artist Maj Nilsson working for David Whitehead. A large everyday tote bag with a tan leather base and handles. detail. I bonded this linen print to another fabric before lining so it feels like a canvas weight. Lined in a grey cotton with zipped inside pocket with leather and bright yellow zip detail.
